Computer

The current computer lab consists of 17 workstations linked by a Novell network. This is a one-room class and all students have their own workstations. Each class (starting in Kindergarten) goes to the computer lab for one-half-hour of instruction time every week.

Students are taught to use the keyboard, the Internet, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and file management. Photoshop Elements is offered at the Junior High level as an elective course. Students are given certain test levels and each student works diligently to achieve that level.

Each classroom is equipped with a TV and VCR for enhanced classroom instruction as well as access to the Internet. Teachers are also equipped with laptops providing additional tools for curriculum integration.
