WHAT TO EXPECT - FAQ

What is unique about each of the Easter Sunday Services?
  • Each of the Easter morning services at Calvary will be unique:
  • 6:00am in the Courtyard (English)
    The Sunrise  service will have acoustic music, Scripture readings, reflective prayers and interactive moments with everyone in attendance encouraged to bring a flower from home to contribute to a beautiful flower cross. NOTE: If it rains, the service will be in the Chapel where daylight can still be seen coming up through the stained glass.
  • 9:00am in the Worship Center (English/ASL)
    This Easter celebration will feature inspiring music with a full band and choir, a biblical message of hope from 1 Peter 1:3-12, and encouraging stories of life change from people participating in baptisms. There will also be viewing available in the Courtyard and online at CalvaryLife.org/Live
  • 11:00am in Samsvick Chapel (Spanish)

What happens at Calvary's Easter Services?
  • Each of the services will tell the story of Easter through a blend of music, creative arts and teaching from the Bible. In all that we do, our desire is to present the good news of Jesus as we celebrate His life, death, resurrection and the difference He can make in all of our lives.
What'S AVAILABLE FOR kids?
  • We have programs most Sundays of the year for kids birth up through High School.
  • On Easter Sunday, during the 9am and 11am services, there are fun programs with puppet shows available for kids in Nursery to Kindergarten. Kids 1st Grade and up are invited to join in the service with their families.
  • Kids are also welcome to attend with their families at the 6:00am service in the Courtyard (in English) or the 1:00pm service at Cabrillo Park (en Español).

How do I get to Calvary? 
  • Calvary is located at 1010 N Tustin Ave, near the 5 and 55, in the heart of Orange County.
  • Parking is accessible by turning off of Tustin Avenue onto either Wellington Avenue or Fruit Street.

We invite you to set aside time to intentionally pray through each day of Jesus’ last week, leading to His crucifixion and resurrection, as a means to opening up to God’s love and transforming work in your life.  We encourage you to attend one, multiple, or all of the prayer times as we seek the Lord together during this Holy Week.
