A Support Group is an Open Ended, Felt Need Based group of like minded people who are all experiencing a similar life struggle.
The purpose of a support group is to receive Support, Prayer, Encouragement and Accountability in a safe, confidential, Christ-centered, biblically based environment.
All of our groups have a trained facilitator equipped to lead with a passion for helping people.

Do you have a desire to offer that same hope and healing to others who have experienced a similar struggle?
Calvary currently has several support groups to help people through times of trial and difficulties in life. Below, you will see a list of current groups as well as groups we are hoping to begin soon if leadership is found to help oversee them. Below are opportunities to come learn more and become equipped to help others.

Meeting first Wednesday of each month at 7:00 pm in Room S-5.
Purpose: To provide information, support, love, hope and communication for the cancer patient, the survivor and loved ones. Pray with others who are on this tough journey with you. Find support in God and others as you navigate your way through the cancer journey.
If you have been deeply affected by the tragedy of divorce, join us for this six-week workshop. These sessions are designed for those dealing with the finality of a terminated marriage rather than the possiblity of reconciliation. Join us to receive support and understanding from others in a safe, non-judgmental environment.

For those recovering from combat trauma.
Come find support, hope and encouragement in a community of veterans with similar experiences. This group meets on the first and third Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm. Join us upstairs in the Worship Center in the South Conference Room.

Twice a year a White Rose Luncheon is held in the Fireside Room for widows and widowers who have experienced the same kind of loss to enjoy fellowship, support, singing, sharing and food.
This luncheon is open to widows and widowers of all ages. Many friends are made and much comfort plus support is given to each other. It is always very upbeat!

GriefShare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. You don’t have to go through the grieving process alone.
Calvary Care Ministries' GriefShare support group is led by people who understand what you are going through and want to help. You’ll gain access to valuable GriefShare resources to help you recover from your loss and look forward to rebuilding your life.
Join us on Sundays at 11 am upstairs in the Worship Center North Conference for a class designed to support all who are grieving the loss of a loved one.
