Merry Christmas Calvary Church!

I love this season! My lights on my house are about 80% done but I think I’m the only one that wouldn’t think it’s finished already. Part of why I love Christmas lights is because Jesus is the Light of the World. “Jesus spoke to the people once more and said, ‘I am the light of the world. If you follow me, you won’t have to walk in darkness, because you will have the light that leads to life.’” - John 8:12

Our annual Christmas Tree Lighting is this Saturday from 4:00-7:00 pm here at Calvary Church.

This is the perfect event to invite that friend or family member you’ve been hoping would come to church one day. It’s filled with joy and fun and lights! The cool part is that we will also all gather together by the tree at 6:00 pm for some carols, a reading of Luke 2, a very brief gospel message, and then we light the tree and celebrate. So it’s a pretty easy invite to send out, but you know there will also be an opportunity to hear the gospel and then you can talk more about Jesus with them later.  Find out more including how you can help at the event,  the hospital toy drive, Christmas for a Cause pop-up shop and more at CalvaryLife.org/Tree.
