I Have Some Good News To Share With You
Dear Calvary Family,
He is risen! Jesus is alive! I can’t wait for you to experience Jesus this weekend through our Good Friday and Easter Sunday services. This is literally the best opportunity you have to invite someone to church this Sunday. They will hear the good news of Jesus, experience passionate and excellent worship through music, and feel the warmth of a group of people who truly are better together.
Who will you invite?
We will have three services in English on Easter Sunday with indoor, outdoor, and online options available:
- 6:30am Sunrise Service on the Patio (outdoor only)
- 8:30 + 10:30am in the Worship Center (with ASL available), plus viewing on the Patio and livestreamed on Facebook, Youtube and CalvaryLife.org/LIVE
All three of these services this Sunday are the same so pick one and invite your friends, family and neighbors to come worship our Savior who rose from the Garden Tomb!
We will also have services in Spanish at 8:30am and 10:30am in the Chapel and online. Learn more at CalvaryLife.org/Hispano
On Easter Sunday, we invite all kids 1st Grade and up to join together with adults in our services. Families are welcome to take their kids, from 13 months old up to Kindergarten, to our amazing Children's Ministry programs during the 8:30 + 10:30am services. Our Good Friday Communion Service will be a sacred and more somber remembrance of the great sacrifice that Jesus made upon the cross and the agony He endured at the Garden of Gethsemane. This will be in English and ASL in the Worship Center and on the Patio at 7:00pm and in Spanish in the Chapel. If watching the live-stream service online, be sure to have elements for the bread and cup ready for celebrating communion at home.
We have more to celebrate as well! Orange County has just moved into the Orange Tier for covid restrictions which makes us be able to have 50% capacity in all our indoor venues. That means there will be more than enough room at Calvary for you to attend any service you would like, so there’s no need to stay home to help save seats for others.
We understand that some of you are still cautious and that’s okay, but we still invite and encourage you to experience the service outdoors with 300 seats socially distanced on the patio or comfortably inside the Worship Center. As we continue to grow, we do request that you wear a mask upon entry, exit and during singing.
The Orange Tier will also make it easier for Sunday Morning LifeGroups to meet on campus in their normal rooms. Please be looking for more information soon from the church or your LifeGroup Leader.
Finally, join me and many other local pastors for a special livestream Seek Week event tonight at 7:00pm as we prepare our hearts through Holy Week reflections and pray together for all of the Easter 2021 gatherings in Orange County. Discover details and RSVP to join us at CalvaryLife.org/seekweek
May the Lord bless you and keep you!
