Join Us Online this Sunday

5/23/20

    Hi Calvary Family,

You may have heard the news that President Trump announced Friday his desire to see churches open and that houses of worship will now be classified as “essential” with updated CDC guidelines for re-entry. What does this news mean for Calvary?

We agree that churches provide essential services. We stopped gathering in person for a season, but our church has never stopped! The last couple months have been amazing to see how God has been at work in and through our church family as we continued to pursue our purpose, here in Orange County and around the world.

However, because of our size, the need to prepare volunteers before gathering again, and other important considerations, we will wait on restarting our on-campus activities at this time. We will continue to provide updates as plans become available.

While Calvary’s campus will remain closed for now, we invite you to take part in services at CalvaryLife.org/Live, Youtube, and Facebook. And we hope you can join us online this Sunday at 9:30am for an all-church United Service (with English, ASL & Spanish) as we continue our REST series in Hebrews. Get your message outline here.

We also ask you to join us in prayer for wisdom, for unity, and above all, for a Christ-like love for one another and for our surrounding community as we navigate this next season together.

We look forward to discussing this in greater detail at the 2020 Annual Meeting this Sunday at 10:45am as we share updates, stories of God at work locally and globally, and our approach to re-entry. You do not need to be a member to watch, only to take part in the Elder Affirmation Vote. Find details at CalvaryLife.org/meeting
