Galatians: The Gospel of Freedom
Come explore the book of Galatians together. This was written by Paul as a letter of freedom boldly declaring the good news of God’s plan—that Jesus is alive today and is able to liberate us from the burden of faulty beliefs and the bondage of sinful behavior. Join us each Sunday for this series to learn how to experience true freedom and a fruitful life as we trust fully in Christ, walking by grace in step with the Spirit.
Chronicles of the Kings
Shalom. This is a Hebrew word for full, whole-hearted peace in our relationship with God, one another and all creation. In this series, we’ll see how the longing for shalom marks the biblical account of Israel’s history as they wrongly placed their hope for peace and prosperity in an earthly line of kings.
Join us on Sundays at Calvary as we explore each of these flawed rulers, revealing the greater grace of God and the need for a greater King of kings and Prince of peace – Jesus. Our prayer is that you experience the true shalom only He can provide, today and always.
At Christmas we celebrate the birth of Jesus as King. His coming, foretold for centuries, reveals Jesus’ reign over Satan, over history, over Caesar, over everything.
The revolution that began in Bethlehem carries on today, with a promise of hope and joy for a weary world. Come discover the life-giving way of Jesus’ kingdom this Christmas at Calvary Church.
