NEW TO CALVARY?
Welcome to Calvary Church of Santa Ana! We are so excited to have you join us this week. And we want to help make your first visit as great as possible for you and your family! Below, you’ll find a step-by-step guide for Sunday Mornings at Calvary:
9:30 am- Worship Together
Our main Worship Service (in English with ASL) begins at 9:30 am on Sunday mornings, but we would recommend arriving 15-20 minutes early to make sure you have ample time to park, get your kids settled in their areas, and grab a free cup of coffee before going into the service.
11:00 am- Groups for Everyone
At 11:00 am, we have groups for everyone from Children to Students to Adults. These are smaller communities, broken up by demographic or topic, that allow for a time of connecting, growing, and learning together.
1. Arrive at Calvary
We are located at 1010 N Tustin Ave in Santa Ana, CA near the 5 and 55. You can find our parking lots by turning onto either Fruit St. or Wellington Ave. Get Directions | View Campus Map
2. Find a Spot
We have a few spots reserved for our first-time guests on Sundays near each side of the Worship Center, marked with bright green signs. Look for these first, but there is usually plenty of parking available if you arrive 15-20 minutes before the service start time.
3. Get the Kids Settled
We have a secure, electronic check-in system for all of our kid's ministries, from Nursery up through High School. Stop by one of our Welcome Points to get directions for your child's age/grade (look for the bright green umbrellas and signs by each main walkway onto campus.)
4. Grab a Treat
Stop by the Connection Point in the Worship Center Lobby, either before or after the service. We would love to meet you and we have a gift for you as our first-time guest! Come get a delicious drink from our Corner Cafe AND an awesome new mug for you to enjoy it in! You can also get a free cup of coffee from any of our stands across the campus.
5. Head on in!
Now’s the time to grab a seat in our Worship Center! We’ll have music, announcements, and a relevant biblical message from one of our teaching pastors.
Where do I go once I park?
Stop by one of the Welcome Points where we can help you get oriented and help line up your next steps. (look for the bright green umbrellas and signs by each main walkway onto campus.)
What should I wear?
Because Orange County is so laid-back, it’s common to see jeans, t-shirts, and flip-flops next to suits or dresses on a Sunday at Calvary! So feel free to dress to your comfort level.
Should I bring anything?
Feel free to bring your own Bible or pen. In the Worship Center, we also provide Bibles and pens in the chair racks, plus a message outline in the bulletin handout we call the Weekly Current. We’ll also have coffee and water available for free as well.
How long is your Worship Service?
Our services are approximately 70 minutes long.
What do you do in your Worship Service?
Our Worship Service typically consists of: worship through music and singing, announcements or highlights for what’s going on at Calvary, a message from one of our teaching pastors, and then closing worship through music. We offer communion most weeks at stations throughout the Worship Center, and take communion together as a family once a month. And if you’d like someone to pray for you, we have Prayer Points at the front of the Worship Center for you to visit at the end of the service to pray with one of our pastors or volunteers. To learn more about Calvary’s beliefs, visit our Discover Calvary page.
Am I required to donate or give to the offering?
Giving at Calvary is 100% voluntary. If you are a guest with us, all we ask is that you come and enjoy spending time with us and the Lord. You are welcome to give if you’d like, but it is by no means expected or necessary. To learn more, visit our Giving FAQ Page
How do I get more involved?
We’re so excited that you want to learn more! If you’d like to get more involved or learn about what we have going on during the week, come back to the Connection Point desk and talk with one of our awesome volunteers. They have the details on all of ministries and events at Calvary Church.
