The Apostle Paul writes in Romans 15:3, "Let each of us please his neighbor for his good, to build him up."
One of our neighbors here at Calvary Church is OC Global Medical Center, the hospital right across the street from our Church property on Tustin Ave. In 2022, we formed a new partnership with OC Global to provide Volunteer Chaplains for the hospital. We have 24 trained volunteers rotating through the hospital each day. Interested in being trained to be a Volunteer Hospital Chaplain? We also host a "Wednesday Inspiration" prayer time for staff at OC Global every Wednesday from 10:30 to 10:45 am. Interested in volunteering for this opportunity? Contact Pastor Matt Doan at .
Chaplaincy is a ministry of presence - walking with people during life’s most vulnerable moments. Come be better equipped to provide care for those in need. This training is free and open to those currently serving at OC Global Medical Center, those interested in learning more, or those involved in similar Calvary ministries such as Grief Share, Counseling, Stephen Ministers, etc.

The mission at Emmaus Road is to walk alongside people - as Jesus did in Luke 24 - creatively and intentionally renewing their capacities for personal healing and growth in a professional, confidential, affordable, and spiritually-based manner.
This ministry seeks to keep children safe and families together. Fueled by radical hospitality, disruptive generosity, and intentional compassion, they are helping to build a network of caring volunteers rooted in faith and ready to support families in need.
As Christians, our faith in Jesus guides our attitudes and engagement in every domain, including public policy. The apostle Paul writes in Philippians 3:20, "For our citizenship is in heaven, from which also we eagerly wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.” We also have been placed by God as a citizen in the nation and neighborhood where we currently live. Our "Dual Citizenship" guides our attitudes and engagement in civic life toward a biblical and God-honoring desire for justice and righteousness. Our prayer is for God’s will to be done and for Jesus to be glorified in our neighborhoods and nation!
