What is a LifeGroup?
LifeGroups are ongoing small group communities that gather together throughout the week to CONNECT in a smaller setting, GROW together in our faith, and REACH out together to our community.
At Calvary Church, we want to make connecting simple!
Whether you have been around Calvary for a few days or a few years, finding a group of people with whom you can CONNECT can be a little like trying to find a new family to call your own. Rarely do individuals go looking for a new family, so it may feel a bit awkward at first, but if you were to do just that, what would you be looking for?
You’d probably want a family with loving individuals who cared about you, wanted to know you, wanted to share themselves with you and were ready to listen and share life experiences.
LifeGroups at Calvary are a lot like families, however, they are unique because of their common purpose: to help individuals CONNECT with God and others to GROW in their faith so they REACH Orange County and the world for Jesus Christ. The community that is experienced in a LifeGroup can happen during a shared meal, a shared activity or a shared study, and the exciting thing is that it is happening all over Orange County.
If you have a few minutes, explore more about LifeGroups by reading through the frequently asked questions in the sidebar. Then, use the LifeGroup Finder to discover which LifeGroup might best fit you.
It may be a bit intimidating to take the first step toward finding the right LifeGroup, but I encourage you to do it anyway. Life was never meant to be lived alone; community is part of God’s design.
And if you need help along the way, give me a call or email me at lcopeland@calvarylife.org. I’d love to answer your questions or help you get connected to a LifeGroup today!
