The beloved disciple of Jesus wrote these words to remind us that the closer we are to the Lord, the more connected we will be to one another.
As the body of Christ, we are called by God to live in His Light as we CONNECT with each other: speaking truth, living peaceably, working hard, showing kindness, compassion and forgiveness, while encouraging one another to love and good deeds. As we individually imitate God and live lives of love, we will supernaturally manifest the spiritual community that CONNECTS each of us to one another as sisters in the family of God.
