How do we experience the blessings God designed for us, rather than the brokenness that results from following the distorted view displayed in much of our media and culture? Our prayer is that you discover the biblical foundation of God's plan to fully enjoy and properly express His ideal in these three key matters of your life.

A surf board is shaped by it's maker for a specific purpose, to carry a surfer as he rides waves. How has God shaped you? What experiences, good or bad, have you encountered that God may be using to create a purpose for your life and a blessing through your life?
On Sunday, June 30 at Calvary Church, we have a special guest speaker, George Hulse. He's a former pro surfer who is now a pastor in San Clemente at Shoreline. Join us for a free screening of Promised Land on Sunday, June 30 at 7:00 pm. Watch Pro Surfers Like Tom Curren and Famous surfboard shapers like Al Merrick as Promised Land the Movie highlights the surfing culture in Israel.
Israel is a country that is loved, hated, and often misunderstood by much of the world. Who really belongs there? Why is Jerusalem so important? Why do some believe in a messiah who will put things right?
Amidst this seemingly endless battle over land and religion, surfing has emerged as an escape from the controversy. Promised Land is a unique look at this ancient place through the lives of two friends from different faiths, brought together by their love of the oceans that separate them.
