What are Global Short Term Missions Trips?
Global Short Term Mission Trips are ministry experiences (usually 2-3 weeks) for committed Christians, enabling them to participate in cross-cultural ministry. Through these trips, God gives both individuals and families, from students to seniors, the opportunity to serve Him in amazing ways all over the world.
All Global Short Term Mission Trips are approved by the Missions ministry team, which strives for these trips to be connected with our Calvary Missionaries and ministry partners. If you are interested in being a part of a short term trip, please contact Missions Ministry Team-Short Term Chairman, Harold Stephens at 714.962.4093.
If you are interested in going on a short-term trip this summer you can either print out a Short-Term Trip Application Form or pick one up in the Missions Office.

The College Group is taking a team to help Calvary missionaries, Chris and Susan Tweedy, with the renovation of Greater Europe Mission's headquarters in Kandern, Germany. We went in 2008 and helped them start the 150 year old barn conversion project and now we have the chance to put some of the finishing touches on it so they can better utilize their headquarters and short term missions housing contained in it. We are also planning to partner with them in reaching some of the local children and students through various ministry opportunities.
Contact the Missions Office at 714.550.2341 if you are interested in being a part of this trip.
High School Short-Term Summer Trip
Leader: Doug Brown
Dates: June 29-July 7, 2013
This summer, high schoolers have the opportunity to serve in the jungles of Costa Rica in a way that they are very familiar with-- camping ministry. They will be traveling to a camp called La Montana where they will be the staff for a week. This camp is a “Hume Lake” style camp that ministers to the youth in Costa Rica.
They will take on various responsibilities to help run the camp, serve people in a way that is very familiar to them, and be challenged to view the world outside of our normal comfort zones!
