Global Missions

What are Global Short Term Missions Trips?

Global Short Term Mission Trips are ministry experiences (usually 2-3 weeks) for committed Christians, enabling them to participate in cross-cultural ministry. Through these trips, God gives both individuals and families, from students to seniors, the opportunity to serve Him in amazing ways all over the world.

All Global Short Term Mission Trips are approved by the Missions ministry team, which strives for these trips to be connected with our Calvary Missionaries and ministry partners. If you are interested in being a part of a short term trip, please contact Missions Ministry Team-Short Term Chairman, Harold Stephens at 714.962.4093.

If you are interested in going on a short-term trip this summer you can either print out a Short-Term Trip Application Form or pick one up in the Missions Office.

This summer, high schoolers have the opportunity to serve in the jungles of Costa Rica in a way that they are very familiar with-- camping ministry. They will be traveling to a camp called La Montana where they will be the staff for a week. This camp is a “Hume Lake” style camp that ministers to the youth in Costa Rica.

They will take on various responsibilities to help run the camp, serve people in a way that is very familiar to them, and be challenged to view the world outside of our normal comfort zones!
