2025 Thanksgiving Offering
Dear Calvary Family,
This Thanksgiving, we have a special opportunity to support the spread of the Gospel across Europe through our Thanksgiving Offering. The offering will benefit two exciting Greater Europe Mission (GEM) projects — Camp Wonder in Kosovo and the Ten2 Project for young adults.
Camp Wonder is the dream and vision of Kosovo nationals — and Calvary Missionaries — Pajtim and Nora Smolica. This will be the first Christian camp in the Eastern European nation of Kosovo, designed to reach the youth of the youngest country in Europe, where one-third of the population is under the age of 18. (Pajtim will be here at Calvary Church on Sunday, November 23rd to talk about the vision for the camp.)
The second recipient of our Thanksgiving Offering will be young adults from Calvary Church (ages 18–25) who participate in a 10-week summer missions experience through GEM’s Ten2 Project. These young adults will serve alongside GEM missionaries in key ministry cities across Europe, from May 27 to August 2, 2026 (cost: $5,900 + airfare). A portion of our offering will go toward lowering the cost for any interested Calvary young adults who feel called to go. (Mike Taylor from GEM will also be at Calvary on Sunday, November 23rd to talk to young adults about the Ten2 Project).
