CALVARY REACH MINISTRIES
As followers of Jesus, we live on mission reflecting His love and light by seeking justice, showing compassion, and sharing the good news of His kingdom with our neighbors and the nations.
Watch each Sunday of Reach Week 2021 to hear inspiring updates from around the world and discover the biblical call to be formed, filled, and poured out for the global cause of Christ:
"These were His instructions to them: 'The harvest is great, but the workers are few. So pray to the Lord who is in charge of the harvest; ask Him to send more workers into His fields." Luke 10:2
Get your phone out and set a daily alarm for 10:02 to pause and pray Jesus' request of Luke 10:2. Let's all ask God to send more workers from Calvary to share the gospel and bless them as they reap the harvest that He has prepared.
As you pray at 10:02, also ask God to give you Courage, Heart, Opportunities, and Words to Say. We need boldness, love, chances to share and then the right words to say as we follow the Spirit’s leading to share with our neighbors, coworkers, friends & family.
Calvary has 90+ missionaries reaching out with the good news of Jesus around the world. You can see where and how they serve, plus ways to lift them up in prayer, by picking up a Missionary Prayer Guide this Sunday in the Lobby.
Be part of reaching neighbors and nations with the good news of Jesus by contributing to Calvary's Reach Missions Fund. Over $1 Million is generously given each year by our church family—nearly 25% of our total Church Budget—to support our 90+ Calvary Missionaries and strategic Partnership Projects that transform lives around the world.
In December 2020, Compassion Compassion Int'l and Calvary Church partnered together to sponsor children from San Martín Jilotepeque, a small Guatemalan town with a population of 10,812, located 40 miles from Guatemala City. The average family earns $125 a month and struggles to provide basic necessities for day to day life. Unemployment, addiction, and crime are realities facing this city each day. Families in the forested city of San Martin live in small houses made of cement floors, brick walls and tin roofs. Sponsoring a child in San Martin is a game-changer for the child and the family. A child sponsorship allows for the staff of "Ninos para Christo Student Center" to provide meals, Bible teaching, birthday celebrations, sports and educational resources to the kids of the community.
To date, Calvary Church has sponsored 108 kids in San Martin! We hope to take a short term team of sponsors down to Guatemala in 2022!
There are still more opportunities to get involved in sponsoring a child from San Martin Jilotepeque, Guatemala. Email Compassion International directly at
