Dear Calvary Family,

We have had a couple great Sundays of our Connect Fair in the Lobby for a chance to explore the different teams to serve on and groups to grow with in this new fall season here at Calvary Church. I wanted to highlight one Sunday morning opportunity that starts this week! It’s with our Marriage Ministry and will be presented by Martin and Jade Eaton going through a biblical approach to Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work by John Gottman. This is all about keeping Jesus as the center and focus of our life and marriage, which brings you closer to Jesus and closer together as a couple. This class meets at 10:45am in G-213 and will last for 14 weeks, and our Marriage Group will continue beyond this class every week.

Finally, I would love to remind you about our Beach Baptisms this Sunday evening at Corona Del Mar. Our last Baptism Class before this opportunity will be this Sunday, September 7 at 11:00am in the Worship Center Lobby.

Everyone is invited to come celebrate what God is doing in the lives of those being baptized! Come early, stay late! Bring your own dinner to enjoy at the beach at 5:00 pm. Celebrate the baptisms starting at 6:00 pm. Afterwards, enjoy s’mores, fun and fellowship together at the Calvary Church Beach Party.
