He is risen! The King is alive!
Dear Calvary Family,
He is risen! He is risen indeed! The King is alive!
It is Thursday of Holy Week and we are just days away from Resurrection Sunday. We still have a few different opportunities to worship and celebrate. These days aren’t just moments on the church calendar, but they are reminders of a revolution. A revolution against sin and death. A war that Jesus won in the early morning on the first day of the week, when he rose up from the grave and the tomb was found empty. This is when everything was changed! And everything can be changed for both you and the people that God has placed in your life. You can be an ambassador for Christ as you invite those people to experience a revolution of their hearts as they hear the Good News of Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection.
You can still attend tonight’s Passover Seder at 7:00pm even if you haven’t registered. Come join us in Fellowship Hall and pay $20 at the door if needed.
Our Good Friday Night of Worship at 7:00pm will be a reflective and reverent service, centered around communion and remembrance of the cost that Jesus willingly paid upon the cross.
Finally, join us for Easter Sunday, with services at 8:30am and 10:30am! Each service will be followed by a free and fun Egg Hunt by the playground. You can find ways to share an invitation to this awe-inspiring and joy-filled morning together by sending a text or posting on social media at CalvaryLife.org/Invite.
I am so excited for you to sing the incredible music we have planned, to hear this sermon that is already bursting from my heart, and to hear the stories of those being baptized.
He is risen! He is risen indeed!
May the Lord bless you and keep you,
Eric
