Dear Calvary Family,

We are approaching the end of our Fiscal Year here at Calvary Church. This is always a good moment to step back and see how God has been providing for our ministry here at our church, in our community, and around the world.

As I’ve said many times, our approach to all issues, including financial ones, is to listen to God and respond. We present the issue, question, or problem to you and to the Lord. Then we pray and listen to what God says and how God wants us to respond. And then we obey and respond in the way he directs us through the Bible and the Holy Spirit’s leading. I implore you to pray, to listen, and then to respond in the way God leads.

Here’s the update on where we are today as we look to finish our fiscal year on budget:

• Our budget goal for General Fund contributions this year was $3.75 million and we need $225,000 by June 30th to finish the year on target, which is double what God normally provides in two weeks.
  
  
• The Reach Fund needs $89,000 to reach its goal of $805,000 by June 30th as this area is $61,000 behind budget
  
  
• Finally, our Forward in Faith campaign is within $30,000 of its $3.3 million initial goal and we are in the middle of Phase One, installing the Worship Center HVAC with half of the equipment going in next week and waiting to hear back on city approval to begin Phase Two by updating the North Entrance Walkway and Fireside Patio. We will have a better idea of costs and next steps in the project as we finish Phase One and start Phase Two, hopefully in the late summer.
