My Experience with Calvary Christian School

2/18/21 | Weekly Pastor's Email | by Eric Wakeling

    Dear Calvary Family,

We continue to ask for your prayers for wisdom and guidance from the Holy Spirit as our leaders meet to discuss next steps for our church regarding our plans for regathering indoors. We will have more information this Sunday as well as in our weekly email next week.

I wanted to take this opportunity to talk about how awesome Calvary Christian School is in the way they have handled the pandemic and how they care for our young people so well.

Did you know that our Head of School, Dave Seidman, started his tenure in July of 2020? Can you imagine trying to come into a brand new environment and lead a school in the midst of everything happening last summer and still today? Mr. Seidman has done just that and has been an incredible leader for our school. He brought a strong, wise and stabilizing presence in the midst of a tumultuous time. We have been open for in-person instruction since last August allowing our Preschool - 8th grade students to be nurtured academically, spiritually and emotionally this entire year while also keeping our people safe.

I have been personally blessed to have both of my daughters attend CCS since they were in preschool and now my youngest will be graduating from 8th Grade this June. We have experienced the well-balanced academic rigor and loving spiritual development that uniquely occurs at a place like CCS. I highly recommend sending your child or grandchild to this wonderful school.

This is the season to apply for the 2021-2022 school year.  Discover more about the difference CCS can make in your child's life, and take a virtual campus tour today, at www.Calvary.School

Please join us this Sunday at 9:00am, either outdoors here at Calvary or online at CalvaryLife.org/LIVE. I am looking forward to sharing a message with you on "Living a Sacrifice" from Hebrews 13:10-16 in our ongoing series Living Out Your Faith.

May the Lord bless you and keep you,
    Eric Wakeling
