Opportunities to Grow in Financial Wisdom
Dear Calvary Family,
We have some great opportunities coming up for learning and growing in our wisdom when it comes to handling our finances in a biblical and godly way. Essentially, all you have to do is come on Wednesday nights in February and you will be on your way to creating a Living Trust for free and establish principles for a life of generosity as a spiritual practice. Here are the details:
LEGACY PLANNING SEMINAR
February 4, 2026 • 7:00 - 8:30 pm
Calvary Church • Fellowship Hall
This seminar will kick off the Midweek series - The Generosity Practice
Children ages 2-18 years old are welcome to participate in our Midweek ministries happening across campus from 7-8:30 pm.

Calvary has partnered with Financial Planning Ministry (FPM) to help guide you through a clear process to create your legacy plan — passing on what you value, saving those you love time and money, and securing peace of mind for the future.
Whether you have an estate plan in place or not, we invite you to take a fresh look at it and have FPM address your planning challenges and priorities at this free seminar on Wednesday, February 4th. You'll have the opportunity to hear from Mike Prior, President of FPM, who will give practical input and biblical wisdom to help walk you through the decisions you need to make. You will learn more about Wills and Living Trusts and how to protect your assets for the people and ministries you care about. After attending the seminar, you will have the opportunity to schedule a follow-up appointment — then to request that FPM prepare or update your estate plan (will or trust) all at no out-of-pocket cost to you.
While we may all agree that a Will and Living Trust are important, many of us postpone creating (or updating) them. We want to bless you as part of the Calvary Church family with this opportunity to learn your options, create your documents and leave a legacy for your family.
THE GENEROSITY PRACTICE
Wednesdays in February
7:00 pm in Fellowship Hall
This Midweek series will kick off with a Legacy Planning Seminar on February 4 and then continue through February with an interactive conversation exploring what the Bible says about money and living generously with a new curriculum from John Mark Comer.
- Are you annoyed by generous people or do you want to be one?
- What's our role in helping the poor?
- How do I impact the next generation in terms of generosity?
- What will my legacy be?
We will learn from each other and some leaders from Calvary as we join together to be a more generous community that impacts those around us no matter what God has entrusted us to steward. Discover more about what's happening on Wednesdays at Calvary, including exciting programs for Kids and Students, by visiting CalvaryLife.org/Midweek.

May the Lord bless you and keep you,
