Dear Calvary Family,

In our life of trusting in the guidance and power of the Holy Spirit, we should constantly be asking and paying attention to the people that God is encouraging us to share the hope we have in Jesus. This “sharing” will most often be in how we live as a follower of Jesus that allows others to see Christ through us. This will also often be in conversation about life, normal everyday struggles and joy, how the Bible impacts our thoughts and actions, and how Jesus has transformed our lives.

Another way this sharing can play out is through invitation.

As a church, we try to provide ways for you to invite people to join you in non-threatening and fun events like Sunday Family Pancake Breakfasts, Light the Night, and the Christmas Tree Lighting. The ultimate and best one for kids is coming up in less than two weeks - Vacation Bible School.

Camp Fargongo VBS is a FREE week-long summer day-camp here at Calvary Church where kids come and have the time of their lives while learning about the love of Jesus for them. VBS will be July 28-August 1 from 9:00am-12:30pm. Parents will love for their kids to have a place to have fun that is safe and free of cost. Parents will love a bit of a break in the middle of summer. Parents will love their kids coming home tired and encouraged to live a life of trusting in God. And then we invite those parents to come for the United VBS Sunday Service at 10:00am on August 3rd to hear more for themselves!

So who will you invite?

Who has God placed in your life that would be open to this invitation?

We work very hard and many people donate a lot of goods and money to make this event both amazing and free. But the invitation is what will ensure those people who need to hear the Good News of Jesus will join us for Camp Fargongo VBS this year!
