Dear Calvary Family,

I know that I have been enjoying this series on what “We Value” and I hope you have as well. We have covered TRUTH and GRACE that are for PEOPLE and we express all it with PASSION. This Sunday we will talk about the value of TEAM. We are more than an audience.

This got me thinking back to when we felt like an audience as all of us watched church services on TV. A couple interesting things about that time is that there was still a TEAM that was working hard to serve our church and our community. We had teams of audio, lighting and technical arts. Teams of musicians. Teams of children’s workers creating opportunities for kids. Teams of people serving those that couldn’t leave their homes. Teams of people distributing food to those in need. And many more! We have been a team every step along the way.

It also made me think of sending another invitation to you if you are still watching church online. This isn’t for those of you that need to be socially distanced for specific health reasons. But for the rest of you, I would love to have you come and worship with us in our Worship Center or the Patio for English and ASL or for the Chapel for Spanish speakers. We are able to express our PASSION to God and gather with our TEAM in a way that will connect with your heart in a deeper, more tangible way. So here’s the invitation, please come to church this Sunday morning. We’d love to see you there.
