We're so excited for Easter at Calvary!
Dear Calvary Family,
We are getting so excited about our preparations for celebrating with you this Easter Sunday! It’s going to be an incredible morning of worship and good news and stories of changed lives!
Do you ever feel like your spiritual life is filled with traditions and rituals, but you are missing that true transformation and heart change? Do you ever feel like fear holds you back from living in the faith you hope for each day? Do you ever feel like these stories of Jesus are crazy, but your heart is still running after the truth? These are the questions we will be tackling this Sunday. These are the moments that you can know the people you invite will be able to experience.
The resurrection is the moment that changed everything!
BAPTISMS
We always look forward to baptisms on Easter. We want you all to know that we will only have baptisms at the 10:30am service in the Worship Center for English and in the Chapel for Spanish.
KIDS
Both the 8:30 and 10:30 services will have Kid’s programs for Nursery through Kindergarten, with a special puppet show, while 1st Grade and up will be worshiping together with their families. We will also have a fast, free, and fun Easter Egg Hunt for kids of all ages on the Turf Field by the Playground after each service. This is a great opportunity to invite friends and family to come make some memories and enjoy time together.
PASSOVER SEDER
You still have time to register for our Passover Seder that will take place on Thursday at 7:00pm in Fellowship Hall. This is an evening to see how the Exodus story, Passover, and the Last Supper all come together in the death of Jesus of Nazareth. Sign up on our Church Center App or at CalvaryLife.org/Passover.
GOOD FRIDAY WORSHIP NIGHT
Come begin Easter weekend on Good Friday at 7:00pm with a beautiful, quiet, and solemn hour of reflection, Scripture reading, candles, singing, and communion. We’ll have English with ASL in the Worship Center and Spanish in the Chapel.
HOLY WEEK PRAYERS
Finally, there are still a couple of opportunities for you to attend our Holy Week Morning Prayers at 7:00am in the Chapel to pray and reflect on Jesus’ road to the cross. You can also follow along with the daily devotions in this year's Holy Week Prayer Guide (PDF).
Happy Resurrection Day!! See you Sunday!
May the Lord bless you and keep you,
Eric Wakeling
