Dear Calvary Family,

We are in a beautiful season of growth and outreach as a church.

It’s been so encouraging to see over 500 people growing through the Hear from God Journey as the first step in our discipleship path along The Calvary Way. We just have two more sessions remaining, and then it’s time for all of us to put those learnings into practice. We will be offering the Hear from God Journey again in January as well as launching the new Walk with Jesus Journey. Discover more at CalvaryLife.org/Way.

We also have one of our biggest outreaches of the year coming up — Light the Night! This is our massive Fall Festival on October 31st from 5:00 - 8:00 pm. We need your help! You can donate candy, serve at the event, invite people to come, and be praying for the thousands who come to Calvary. Find out more about how to do all of that at CalvaryLife.org/LTN.

I mostly want to celebrate some awesome things that we have been able to support recently because of your faithful giving to the Reach Fund. All of these support good deeds that lead to the Good News of Jesus.

• WOMEN’S SHELTER IN KENYA - We sent $2,500 to provide safe housing, mentorship, and educational opportunities for girls rescued from human trafficking, in partnership with a Calvary missionary.

• BIBLES IN IRAN - We sent $7,500 to support a Calvary ministry partner with the printing and distribution of Farsi-language Bibles in Iran, as well as the development of a special needs ministry serving Iranian children with disabilities.

• FOOD AND MEDICAL SUPPLIES IN CUBA - We sent $5,000 to a Calvary missionary working in eastern Cuba who is serving thousands of Cubans facing desperate shortages of food and medicine.

• INDONESIAN BIBLE TRANSLATION - We sent $9,000 toward a Bible translation project that is overseen by our South Asia Calvary partners. This team recently completed the entire New Testament and the book of Proverbs and is now working on the book of Psalms!

Thank you so much for your partnership in prayer and giving to these projects, as well as the regular monthly support we offer to all of our global partners who are making a difference around the world.

Keep these in mind as you pray and as you consider your giving toward Calvary’s General, Reach, School, Building, and Emergency Needs Funds. You can explore each of these opportunities to partner in the good work happening locally and globally at CalvaryLife.org/Give.

May the Lord bless you and keep you,
Eric Wakeling
