Dear Calvary Family,

We have had a great couple of months with a lot of change and we appreciate everyone’s flexibility and prayers through it all—from Worship Service room location changes to Light the Night in the rain. LifeGroups have also adapted to new times and rooms. The Hear from God Journey was amazing and we look forward to the Walk with Jesus Journey starting in January. You can even begin signing up for the next season of Journeys now at CalvaryLife.org/Way.

Thank you all for the incredible spirit with which you have tried new things and made many adjustments.

I also appreciate your prayers for all that is needed in this next phase of Forward in Faith and ask specifically that you would join me in praying for the permits to be fully approved for the Worship Center auditorium remodel. Those plans were submitted back in July, and we are still waiting for the city to give its approval.

But there is still work to be done in the meantime! You are invited to a Calvary Church Work Day this Saturday, November 7th, from 8:30-11:00 am, where we will move seat parts and other demo material as well as start decorating for Christmas! You can RSVP and find out moe at CalvaryLife.org/Work.

This is also the time of year when we are accepting nominations from our congregation for new members of the Elder Board. You can email nominations to or learn more at CalvaryLife.org/Leaders.

May the Lord bless you and keep you,
Eric Wakeling
