The "Hear from God" Journey Begins this Sunday!
Dear Calvary Family,
The Hear from God Journey starts this Sunday, September 13! We are incredibly blessed to have so many of you register for this first 7-week Journey!
We have opened up a couple more tables at all three of the options in Fellowship Hall - Sunday at 9:00am, Sunday at 11:00am, and Wednesday at 7:00pm. College and Young Adults also have the option to do the Journey on Thursday nights starting next week.

You’ve registered! You’ve signed up! But now comes the real work - SHOWING UP!
I encourage you to make sure that you arrive on time to your Journey and make every effort to attend all the sessions. I have registered for triathlons before where I got all excited about when I signed up, but then I got nervous when it was time to actually train. And even more nervous when it was time to actually race! But you’ve got this! You won’t be disappointed!
I’m genuinely thrilled for you to come to the Journey sessions and to work through the Daily Exercises. These Daily Exercises are mostly just wonderful times to spend with God - to be with him, to listen to him, to be loved by him. I can’t wait!
Construction Update & Church Work Day:
The Fireside Patio and North Walkway Entry project is almost finished! Stop by this Sunday to see the progress! And, the moves for our English/ASL service to the Chapel and for the Spanish service to the Gym are all going well!
Thanks to everyone for all the patience, flexibility, and hard work that went into these transitions. We especially thank all our Worship Service volunteers - many of whom are now serving over two services - and our Hispanic Ministry for bearing the heat. We have added some evaporative coolers to the Gym to help with the recent high temperatures and we are praying for the weather to improve soon.
We are looking to have a Church Work Day on Saturday, September 26 to help with removing chairs in the Worship Center auditorium. You can sign up - and see what tools would be helpful if you can bring them - at CalvaryLife.org/Work.
