Dear Calvary Family, 

We value a pro-life ethic here at Calvary Church. We value all life - the young, the old, the in-between, and the unborn. It’s almost like the traditional wedding vows - we value the richer, the poorer, the sick, the healthy, those with plenty and those in want. As I’ve said before, this pro-life ethic demands more than just pro-birth and we support many ministries that reflect that. We desire to live out our value of life to help children, women and parents well beyond their delivery date. 

We will recognize Sanctity of Life Sunday this week on January 23rd. Our sermon this Sunday in our First, Love series is all about loving your neighbor as yourself. Love God first. Love your neighbor as the second part of that greatest commandment. We wholehearted believe that a pro-life for the whole life ethic is a huge part of loving our neighbor. 

We are blessed to have Dawn Hughes from Obria Medical Group join us in our worship service. Obria (formerly, Birth Choice) is a pro life pregnancy medical clinic here in Santa Ana and has affiliates all over the country. Dawn will share some ways we can be praying for her clinics here in Orange County. After Sunday’s service from 10:30am to 10:50am, we invite you to stick around for a Sanctity of Life prayer time in the Worship Center with Dawn, Marie Doan and Darren Kempkes.
