A Massive Week in the Life of our Church

    Dear Calvary Family,

    The Calvary Way
    What a massive week in the life of our church!! We launched the Hear from God Journey and have had over 500 people register and participate in this process to be equipped to hear from the Lord in a variety of ways. Please continue to pray for this process and for our church to be unified as we move forward together for Life with Jesus to Bless the World.

    I strongly believe that God is going to use The Calvary Way and the Journeys to help us live on mission with him and that will impact our neighborhoods and the nations for Jesus. But the enemy wants to divide us and distract us from all that God has for us. So again, please join me in praying for Calvary Church. And if you’re in the Hear from God Journey, don’t forget to work on your Daily Exercises!

    Beach Baptisms
    One other incredible moment we will have this week is our Beach Baptisms at Corona Del Mar State Beach on Sunday, September 20th. We would love to have you be baptized at this historic location with your church family celebrating with you.

    We have one more opportunity to take the Baptism Class this Sunday, September 20th at 11:00am in Room S-2 (just next to the front doors of Samsvick Chapel). Come learn more about the biblical meaning of baptism and prepare to take this next step in your faith. You can sign up now at CalvaryLife.org/Baptism.

    Here’s how the evening will look:
    5:00 pm - Get there early enough to park and find our firepits near the jetty on the right and hang out! Bring your own dinner, a beach chair, and whatever else you want for some fun at the beach.
    6:00 pm- The baptisms will begin!
    7:00 pm - Celebrate Together! We will have s'mores around the fire pit.

    We look forward to seeing you all this Sunday morning for our Worship Services or The Hear from God Journey at 9:00 & 11:00 am and the baptisms at the beach!
