Christmas at Calvary!

12/19/24 | The Weekly | by Eric Wakeling

    Dear Calvary Family,

We’ve been putting the finishing touches on our Christmas services and I can’t wait for you to experience and participate in them! I know I often talk about loving Christmas and you might think it’s because of the lights and trees and gifts and food and all of that. You’d be absolutely right - I love all of that good stuff! But as I’ve been working on my messages for Sunday and then the Candlelight services on Monday and Tuesday, I’m absolutely astounded by the names of Jesus prophesied in Isaiah, especially Immanuel.

    Immanuel - God with us.

The notion of God being with us is mind-blowing if you stop and contemplate on it for even a moment. The Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, and - as we will see this Sunday - Prince of Peace came to be with us. Consider all the peace and hope that truly brings for you in the midst of this hectic and busy season.

    God with you.

    God with your family.

    God with your friends.

    God with your co-workers.

Please pray and boldly invite those people who need “God with them” to one of our Candlelight services next week. This is one of those times when they are most likely to accept your invitation.

Below is the schedule of Christmas Services at Calvary (These are Family Services with all ages together. Nursery space open for parents as a Family Video Venue.)
