Come celebrate at VBS Sunday at 10:00am!
It has been a truly epic week at Calvary’s Highland Games VBS!
Everyone is invited to join the fun at a FAMILY SERVICE this Sunday, August 2, at 10:00 am, with all ages and languages together (ASL, Spanish, and Mandarin interpretation available) to celebrate all that God has done.
We'll enjoy a moment with kids invited on stage to help lead us in VBS worship music. We'll hear stories of God at work and an encouraging message from God's Word. And, we'll have a special surprise to end the service! Plus, plan to stay after for pancakes and a petting zoo by the Playground!
There won't be any separate programs happening this day, as everyone gathers to celebrate together! (No regular 9:00 am or 11:00 am ministries on August 2. Regular ministry programs resume on August 9.)
Thank you for every prayer, every donation, every volunteer hour, every encouraging word, and every moment you helped make this week possible. Because of you, kids heard the Gospel, experienced God’s love, and discovered that they are part of His story. Lives were changed forever.
If you’d still like to help, here are a few things you can do as this unforgettable week comes to a close:
Pray: Please continue praying for protection over our children and campus. Please be praying for all of the kids who came and the many who made a faith-decision this week. Pray for all of our VBS team to be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit and with boldness and love for these children and the good news of Jesus Christ! Pray for enthusiasm and endurance for those serving as we wrap up an amazing, but long week of high-energy ministry.
Volunteer: We will have cleanup to do on Sunday. Before going into our VBS Service at 10:00 am, check in with Denise Ristenpart in the Worship Center Lobby and learn how you can help after the service with the final VBS cleanup of the Lobby and Stage (Feel free to bring gloves and a few tools if you have them.)
Donate: VBS at Calvary is 100% free for every child because of your generous donations of time, food, and supplies. Thank you for all you have given so far. If you still want to give, you can donate to our VBS Fund or to this year's Penny Project - raising funds for our global partners, the Shoemaker family, to help unchurched kids in Portugal go to summer camp - at CalvaryLife.org/Penny.
