Dear Calvary Family,

It might seem early to be talking about trips in the Summer of 2024, but it’s exactly the right time to get started preparing for a G.O. (Global Outreach) Trip next year with Calvary Church. Where might God be calling you to GO? I encourage you to join us this Sunday, October 8 from 10:30 - 11:00 am in the Worship Center to explore opportunities to serve with our Calvary missionaries and partnership organizations in a different country, proclaiming the Good News of Jesus in both words and actions.

God calls and commands all of us in Matthew 28:19-20 to, “Go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

This is a call for us in our everyday lives and also a call to have a heart for the nations. A Calvary G.O. Trip is a great way to live this out as we pursue the vision God has given us – to be a church family that is better together, being changed by the Gospel to love like Jesus across all cultures and generations.

Through these G.O. Trip experiences, you can help make a difference in the lives of others for God’s kingdom, while also growing deeper in your own relationship with the Lord as you connect with a team of others from Calvary providing encouragement, community, prayer, and support for one another.

I’m serving with Greater Europe Mission (GEM) next summer by doing a fundraiser bike ride from London to Paris and being part of some different GEM ministries in each of the cities we sleep in along the way, helping GEM missionaries prepare for a huge outreach opportunity during the Paris 2024 Olympics.
