It's Time to Celebrate Easter!

3/25/21 | The Weekly | by Eric Wakeling

    Dear Calvary Family,

It’s time to celebrate Resurrection Sunday! Easter is here and Jesus is risen from the dead!

Our theme this year is Garden to Garden and I am looking forward to sharing this great story from Scripture with you. Many of the big events in the story of God take place in a garden. From the Garden of Eden at creation to the Garden Tomb of Calvary and the Garden City where we will spend eternity, we see that God is all about new life springing forth from the ground.

God even says to His people through the prophet Isaiah that if they follow His ways, “The Lord will guide you continually, giving you water when you are dry and restoring your strength. You will be like a well-watered garden, like an ever-flowing spring.”

Through His resurrection power, Jesus is restoring and making all things new. That is what we will celebrate this Easter and we want you to join us and invite everyone you know who has experienced this year of loss and chaos to hear a message of renewed hope in God who is alive!

We look forward to seeing you at 6:30, 8:30 or 10:30am, outdoors, indoors or online on Easter Sunday, April 4th.  See below for more details on Easter Week:

    PALM SUNDAY

    MARCH 28 - 9:00AM

Begin Easter Week looking into how it all began, from the Garden of Eden to the pivotal moments of Christ's triumphal entry on Palm Sunday.

We will have services in the Worship Center at 9:00am (ASL available), as well as available for watching outdoors on the Patio and livestreamed online. Plus, there are great programs available for kids 13 months up to High School!

    GOOD FRIDAY

    APRIL 2 - 7:00PM

Come take communion together as we remember the life and death of Jesus, focusing on the Garden of Gethsemane and the wiling sacrifice He made going to the cross.

The service will be at 7pm in the Worship Center with viewing available on the Patio. If watching online using links below, be sure to have elements for the bread and cup ready for celebrating communion at home.

    EASTER SUNDAY

    APRIL 4 - 6:30, 8:30, 10:30AM

Join us for one of these three nearly identical services - with indoor, outdoor, and online options available:

    • 6:30am Sunrise Service on the Patio
    • 8:30 + 10:30am in the Worship Center (ASL available), plus viewing on the Patio and livestreamed on Facebook, Youtube and CalvaryLife.org/LIVE

On Easter Sunday, we invite all kids 1st Grade and up to join together with adults in our services. Families are welcome to take their kids, from 13 months old up to Kindergarten, to our amazing Children's Ministry programs during the 8:30 + 10:30am services.
