New Classes, New Construction, New Opportunities!

    Dear Calvary Family, 

    We are officially into the New Year! I wanted to give a few updates and encouragements as we get into our Winter season here at Calvary Church. New classes, new construction, new opportunities!

    NEW CLASSES
    First of all, we had an incredible, packed-out night of our new midweek series called The Jesus Questions taught by Laura Lepire. Laura is Calvary Christian School’s Bible Teacher and has served as a pastor here and at Saddleback Church. She is walking through some difficult questions around belief and faith and Jesus! You can join in next Wednesday at 7:00pm in Fellowship Hall.

    We also have our Alpha Course on Sunday mornings at 11:00am, which is another great way to process through questions about life, purpose, faith, and Jesus. Come with any friends who are seeking or considering faith this Sunday!

    NEW OPPORTUNITIES
    Both this Sunday and next - January 11 and 18 - will have our Connect Fair happening in the Worship Center Lobby after the 9:00 am service, where you can find out about LifeGroups to join, new classes, and teams to serve with in many areas of ministry. It’s a great way to browse and ask questions about these different opportunities for connection, growth, and service.

    NEW CONSTRUCTION
    PARDON OUR DUST! We started work this week on the next phase of the Forward in Faith projects. Some demolition and foundational work has begun on the area just outside the North Kitchen and Fireside Room that will create a new North Walkway Entrance, relocate the trash dumpster enclosure, and create a new Fireside Patio area.

    This does mean that access to the North Kitchen, Fireside and the Northside building areas must all go through the main north entrance walkway toward the central Patio Courtyard. We will update on new parking availability as the construction progresses.

    You can still give towards this entire series of projects at CalvaryLife.org/Give and select “Forward in Faith - Building Fund.”

    We continue to be grateful for your generous and sacrificial giving to the Lord here at Calvary. We finished the 2025 year strong in our General Fund and just behind a little in our Reach Fund. We pray that God continues to provide through all of you. Thank you!
