Thankful for You!

11/22/23 | The Weekly | by Eric Wakeling

    Dear Calvary Family,

Happy Thanksgiving! I really do love Thanksgiving even though I’m a Christmas fanatic. Time with family, remembering what we are grateful for, lots of food! It’s a wonderful holiday season. I want you to know how thankful I am for you and how you are part of the Calvary Church family. Thank you for entrusting us as church leaders to help you grow in your relationship with Jesus. Thank you for partnering in the mission of the gospel by your service and giving. Thank you for participating in the community here together. We truly are better together and I’m thankful to God tha t he has placed us all in this local expression of the Church.

Two things I would like you to remember this week as well:

Join us Thanksgiving Weekend for a UNITED SUNDAY AT 10:00 AM with a Family Service in the Worship Center for everyone 1st Grade and up gathered to give thanks, celebrate lives changed by Jesus with baptisms, and worship the Lord together. (ASL & Spanish interpretation provided. Kids Program available for Nursery - K.) Then stay after the service for a PARTY ON THE PATIO with free pancakes and lots of fun for the whole church family!

Consider giving to our 2023 THANKSGIVING OFFERING to reach out and share the love of God with others out of an overflow of His love to us. This year's offering will help meet the physical and spiritual needs of people who have been displaced from their homes due to the atrocities of war and incredibly challenging circumstances.  Find out more about how you can contribute to what's being done in Jesus' name locally with Afghan Refugees in Santa Ana and globally in Cyprus and Israel at CalvaryLife.org/Thanks.

May the Lord bless you and keep you,
    Eric Wakeling
