The Most Exciting Week of the Year!
Hi Calvary Family,
We have the most exciting week of ministry of the year coming up in just a few short days - LEGEND VBS!!!
We need your help to spread the word to invite kids, to donate to keep it free, and to serve throughout the week. This is literally our largest outreach event every year and we desperately need your prayers as well. We wholeheartedly believe that God hears our prayers and that every prayer warrior is as vital as every crew leader or member of the cast. So please join us in regular prayer every day between now and the end of VBS on July 30.
As we see people come to faith, each of us also have the opportunity to respond to our salvation through water baptism. I am bold enough to say that this is your moment. If you’ve never been baptized, this is the time to say yes to this command from Jesus. Beach Baptisms will be on Wednesday, August 4th at Corona Del Mar State Beach. Bring your own dinner to enjoy around the firepits together at 6:00pm. There will be testimonies and prayer right before the baptisms starting at 7:00pm. (Note: this is really easy to access as we are not going over the rocks into the cove, but will be right off the walkway along the jetty.) Afterwards, join with others from the Calvary Church family for free s'mores, fun and fellowship at the Calvary Church Beach Party.
Come learn about what baptism is and why we do it at one of the upcoming Baptism Classes by meeting up at Connection Point in the Lobby on Sunday at 11:00 am on July 25 or August 1.
