United Sunday - All Together on May 26th!
Dear Calvary Family,
United Sunday!
I can’t wait for our United Sunday at 10:00am where we will have English, ASL, and Spanish languages and kids from 1st Grade and up in the service all together! That’s this Sunday, May 26th at 10:00am in the Worship Center. Plus, plan to stay after for a Party on the Patio with treats and fun for everyone!
We will sing and pray in different languages. We will have moments for the kids to connect with the Scriptures. And, we will also conduct some family business where official church members have the opportunity to vote on incoming elders, renewing elders, and the Phase Two portions of the Forward in Faith projects. You can find out more about the Annual Meeting and Vote at CalvaryLife.org/Leaders.
FORWARD IN FAITH
You can read more about the Forward in Faith goals and phases at CalvaryLife.org/Forward. There are pictures and descriptions of the different projects with many responses to Frequently Asked Questions. You can also find out more information on how to make your commitment.
This Sunday is the day to make your commitment or pledge to the Forward in Faith initiative. We will have Commitment Cards in the back of the seat racks and an opportunity to turn those in during the service or you can always share your response through the Forward in Faith website.
Please be praying and having conversations about what your commitment to this will be. We genuinely are praying for 100% participation. This does not mean 100% agreement on everything, but if this is your church we are asking that you join us in praying for God’s direction and provision - then respond in obedience to how He is leading. And remember that this commitment can be given over the course of 30 months. That means that if you committed $300 total that would equal $10 per month, $3,000 would be $100 per month, and $30,000 would be $1,000 per month. All gifts of every size are both needed and highly valued.
Consider that if:
50 people gave $30 ($1 per month) and then
200 people gave $300 ($10 per month) and then
200 people gave $3,000 ($100 per month) and then another
50 people gave $30,000 ($1,000 per month)
that would total up to $2,161,500.
This would get us well past the remaining need with 500 more people engaging in the project.
We need all the size gifts! We need 100% participation!
Thank you so much for your generosity and your prayerful consideration of your response to this pivotal moment in the life of our church.
"Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need." - Jesus in Matthew 6:33
May the Lord bless you and keep you,
