We Are Here For You
Dear Calvary Family,
The power of the resurrection has been made vividly evident to me over and over again in the midst of this strange season. I could feel the Holy Spirit’s presence and a sense of being with all of you, while preaching on Easter Sunday to a room with a handful of musicians and tech volunteers. We have seen incredible faithfulness and generosity in giving to the church even in an uncertain financial time. God has brought healing and recovery to one of our church members who was in ICU with coronavirus.
I am absolutely praising God for the way He is working in the midst of this season.
And at the same time, I know this is still having massively negative effects on many people’s financial, mental and physical health.
We are here for you.
We are trying to reach out and check in with everyone in our church family. But, we also know it is possible that we may not reach everyone. So, please let us know how we can help you. You can reply to this email or go to CalvaryLife.org/Help and let us know how we can minister to you right now in those areas of financial, mental, emotional, spiritual and physical health. We still have Stephen ministers, lay counselors, prayer ministry team, financial advisors, pastors, LifeGroups, youth workers, children’s ministry team and more all eager to be there for you right now.
One of the best ways to help deal with the current situation is something that helps in any difficult time. It’s the best way to have a healthy perspective. Fix your eyes on Jesus. Know Jesus deeply. Know how Jesus is greater than anything else in the world. He is stronger than anything. His love is better than anything. He is able to meet the real needs we have more richly than anything. Jesus is supreme.
That’s the title and direction of our next series in the New Testament book of Hebrews. Jesus is Supreme. This Sunday we will start looking into this great book together and explore how a proper understanding of who Jesus is, what He came to do, and what He is doing today will sustain us through any hard season. So, please join us this Sunday at 9:30am for our next Live Stream worship service. Find ways to watch, message notes, family activities and more at CalvaryLife.org/LIVE
May the Lord bless you and keep you,
Eric
