We Believe For More!
Dear Calvary Family,
I’d like to talk about prayer today and some scriptures that have been impacting me. Our Calvary elders and pastors have been diving into fervent prayer lately. We believe that God has given us permission to approach Him with confidence and boldness (Hebrews 4:16) and that God has given us authority to pray for healing and to battle the enemy in the spiritual realm (Luke 10:9). We are sent out by Jesus into the world to make disciples in that same authority (Matthew 28:18-20). We are able to listen for the voice of God in our lives (John 10:27) and faithfully spending time reading the Bible helps us to know what God’s voice sounds like.
We believe for more!
It’s out of this understanding of prayer that we can believe a verse like Ephesians 3:20 - “Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.”
We believe for more!
So will you join us in spending regular time in prayer for the following:
- To give glory and honor to God
- To pray for His kingdom come and His will to done on earth as it is in heaven
- To pray for your needs and concerns and for those around you
- To pray that you will experience the power of God in your life in freedom, spiritual protection and to even work miracles in His name for His glory
- To pray that you and Calvary Church would be part of seeing many come to salvation
Let’s pray fervently, often, and with great belief. We believe for more! Will you join me?

May the Lord bless you and keep you,
Eric
