Beach Baptisms are this Wednesday!
Our annual Beach Baptisms are happening this Wednesday, August 4! This is always a great time of celebration, family, and joining together to share the amazing work Jesus has done in the lives of our church family.
Everyone is invited to come meet us at Corona Del Mar State Beach on Wednesday. Bring your own dinner and join us by the firepits at 6:00pm. We will cheer on everyone being baptized starting at 7:00pm, and then continue the celebration afterward with a beach party and s’mores!
We have made it easier for everyone of all ages and ability levels to access by doing the baptisms at the end of the jetty. You can walk down the sidewalk and watch from the jetty or down the sand to be on the shore with those being baptized, without any need to climb up and over into the cove.
I highly encourage you to get baptized at this event if you are a believer in Jesus Christ as Lord. This is the natural next step in your faith journey as you follow Jesus’ example and His commands. If you would like to be baptized, but missed one of the classes, please come early to the beach and check in with one of the pastors who can share what baptisms are all about, why we do them, and help you prepare to be baptized!
