We are all about engaging kids and empowering parents for an ever-increasing, joyful, lifelong journey with Jesus. We aim to create meaningful, age-appropriate experiences that help children develop a deep and lasting connection with God, while providing parents with the support, tools, and encouragement they need to nurture faith at home.

Together, we are building a community where families can grow in their understanding of God’s love, share in the joy of following Jesus, and experience the transformative power of faith in every stage of life. We invite you to join us in the journey!

We’re so glad you’re here! Our hope is to make it easy for your family to get connected and excited about what God is doing at Calvary. We can’t wait to partner with you in helping your kids grow in faith!

CHECK-IN & SAFETY
When you arrive, stop by a Welcome Point at the walkway entrance to campus and they'll point the way to the Kids Check-In area. Here we’ll welcome your family, check your child in, and a volunteer will help guide you to their age-appropriate room. Your child’s safety is our priority — all volunteers are background-checked, and our Safety Response Team ensures a secure environment. We also use a tag system for secure drop-off and pick-up.

Where little ones can learn, play, and experience God’s love in a joyful and safe environment. 
* Parents must be on campus for the duration of any of our early childhood programs *


In the Nursery, our caring team provides a nurturing, clean, and safe space where even the youngest hearts are introduced to the love of Jesus.


In the Playhouse, children discover the wonder of who God is through interactive learning and hands-on experiences.

 

 


We’re so excited to welcome your kids into a place filled with faith, fun, and purpose!


The Garage is where kids in 1st and 2nd Grade come to be restored, tuned up, and strengthened in their faith in an engaging and interactive space. 


The Loft lifts kids in 3rd to 5th Grade up and equips them to make a lasting impact for Christ — learning how to follow Him boldly wherever He leads.

There are steps we take in each of our gatherings that help us live out the purpose of our church as a community where we CONNECT with God and others to GROW in our faith so we REACH Orange County and the world for Jesus Christ.

Recognizing that God loves them unconditionally and learning that Jesus is their friend and Savior.

 

Beginning to understand the significance of these stories in their faith journey

 

Developing an understanding of Scripture and its importance in their lives

 

Understanding what prayer is and learning simple prayers for different situations (e.g., before meals, bedtime prayers, prayers for others)

 

Receiving God's peace, joy, and strength to face challenges - knowing He takes care of us every day

 

Lifting up songs and Scriptures that help us thank God for who He is and all He has done

These milestones are significant moments for your family as you guide your children in their early faith journey, helping them develop a deeper relationship with God and a fuller understanding of what it means to be a follower of Jesus.

Recognizing God’s Blessing: Understanding that we are a special gift from God, and our parents want to dedicate us to Him.

Learning About God’s Love: Realizing that God loves us and our family, and we are part of His big plan.

Committing to Follow God: Knowing that our parents are choosing to raise us to love and follow Jesus, and we are a part of that promise.

Being Part of God’s Family: Understanding that through dedication, we are surrounded by a church family who will support us in our faith journey.

Growing in Faith Together: Knowing that child dedication is a way for our parents and church to help us grow in our relationship with God and learn more about His love.

WATER BAPTISM

Understanding God’s Love: Realizing that God loves us deeply and that Jesus died for our sins.

Believing in Jesus: Knowing that Jesus is our Savior and choosing to follow Him with all our hearts.

Desiring to Take the Next Step: Feeling excited and ready to show others that we believe in Jesus through baptism.

Publicly Declaring Faith: Wanting to share with the world that we are a follower of Jesus and are part of God’s family.

Obeying Jesus: Learning that baptism is something Jesus asked us to do to show our love and obedience to Him.

Growing in Relationship with God: Understanding that baptism is an important part of our journey with God as we grow closer to Him.

LOOKING TO VOLUNTEER?

1. Application

We are so excited you are interested in joining our Kids Team. Begin the process today by filling out an application form:

2. Background Check

Once you complete your application, you'll receive a “Next Steps” email with a request to authorize running a criminal background check. This vital step ensures that we place the right volunteers in the right roles, helping to create a safe and secure environment for everyone!

3. INTERVIEW

In the “Next Steps” email, you will also be asked to register for a volunteer interview. This interview gives us the opportunity to get to know you better and is an important part of our volunteer onboarding process. We offer a variety of days and times to make it convenient for you!
